Our colourful mission

Our story is pure linen. Pure flax, with a modern twist.

Our flax grows a few villages away, on both sides of the French-Belgian border, for centuries the best flax region in the world. It's harvested and processed there too. Weaving and making happen in Portugal, where they know linen. A gentle enzyme wash softens the sturdy fibre.

We don't do greenwashing labels; flax doesn't need them. It grows by itself: 100 days from seed to harvest, on our rain rather than irrigation, no GM (banned in the EU anyway), hardly any pesticides. Made to European labour standards.

The colours? The Lys once inspired our luminist painters. Their light, nuanced tones have been reinterpreted by our Danish textile designer: playful, quietly Scandinavian. Now they're yours to Mix & Match.
